Adam M. Lett, Esq.

A native of Michigan, Adam received his Bachelor of Science, with honors, from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctor, with honors, from DePaul University College of Law. He is a practicing attorney with the law firm Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge and is a member of the firm's Business & Property Law Department.

His practice involves significant real estate and tax components. He is a regular speaker on legal issues, including tax deferred exchanges under Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Adam is a member of the American, Michigan and Florida Bar Associations, as well as the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association. He serves as Director of Northern Lakes & Lands, a non-profit corporation supporting land protection projects, and as a Director of the Rex Dobson Ruby Ellen Farm Foundation. He is also a member of the Northern Michigan Planned Giving Council. In his spare time, he enjoys hockey, golf, keeping an aquarium and spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and two children.

Robert W. Parker, Esq.

Robert W. Parker is a shareholder and the managing partner of Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge's Traverse City office. A native of Traverse City, Robert graduated from the University of Michigan in 1977 and Wayne State University Law School in 1980.

In addition to his work for SHRR Exchange Company, he actively practices in real estate, construction law, land use and zoning, commercial transactions, estate planning and probate.

Robert belongs to the American, Michigan and Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Associations. His other professional association memberships include the Michigan Land Title Association, the Grand Traverse Area Estate Planning Council and the American Institute of Architects. He is appointed counsel for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, the former director of the Grand Traverse Commons Redevelopment Corporation, and the former Director and Chairperson of the Grand Traverse Area Community Living Centers Non-Profit Housing Corporation. Robert is also an approved mediator on domestic relations issues and a Supreme Court Administrator’s Office approved facilitative mediator. Robert and his wife, Suzanne, have three sons: Philip, Kevin and Charlie.
